How to Choose the Right Neon Sign Size

Picking the right size is the single most important decision when ordering a custom LED neon sign. Too small and it gets lost on the wall; too large and it overwhelms the room.

Start with the wall

Measure the wall space and aim for a sign that fills roughly one third to one half of the width. For a sofa wall, that usually means a sign between 24 and 40 inches wide.

Think about viewing distance

• Desks and shelves (under 3 ft): 12–20 inches wide.
• Bedrooms and living rooms (3–10 ft): 20–36 inches wide.
• Shops, bars and events (10 ft+): 36 inches and up.
