LED neon is low-maintenance, but a few simple habits will keep your sign glowing for 100,000+ hours.
Keep it clean
Unplug the sign and wipe the acrylic backing and tube with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads.
Mind the power supply
Keep the adapter in a ventilated spot and never cover it. Use the dimmer to lower brightness in the evening — it also extends the life of the LEDs.
Indoor vs outdoor
Indoor signs should stay dry. If your sign will live outside, order an outdoor-rated version with sealed tubing.
